Remember when "ETH killer" was an actual investment thesis ? When CT would have screaming matches about TPS and gas fees ?

Yeah, that's over now. And not because one side won.

How We Got Here

2021 - 2023 was peak tribalism.You were either an ETH maxi or a Solana degen.No in -between.

ETH people called Solana a "centralized VC chain." Solana people called ETH "slow and expensive boomer tech."

Both were kinda right.Both were kinda wrong.And both missed what was actually happening.

The Boring Truth: Multi - Chain Won

Look at where money and users actually are in 2026:

• Ethereum: DeFi backbone, institutional adoption, legitimacy
• Solana: Consumer apps, gaming, cheap transactions
• Arbitrum / Base: Where retail actually uses Ethereum
• Sui / Aptos: Quietly building, who knows
• Bitcoin: Digital gold store of value

There's no "one chain to rule them all." There's specialization.

Want to be a degen trader ? Solana or a fast L2.

Want institutional - grade DeFi ? Ethereum mainnet.

Want cheap and simple ? Base.

Want to just hold ? Bitcoin.

The war ended because it was a dumb question. "Which chain will win" is like asking "which programming language will win."

What Happened to the Maxis ?

ETH maxis are coping with the fact that most activity moved to L2s and Solana is still alive.

Solana maxis are coping with the fact that institutions didn't adopt their chain like they predicted.

Most normal people ? They use whatever works for what they need and don't care about the politics.

The New Tribalism

The chain wars are dead.But new tribes are forming:

• AI token believers vs skeptics
• Bitcoin DeFi enthusiasts vs Layer 2 pushers
• RWA bulls vs "everything should be on-chain" purists

Same energy, different topics.Crypto loves to argue.

I hold ETH, SOL, and BTC.This is not financial advice, it's common sense in 2026.

The "pick one chain" era is over.Bet on the entire ecosystem or get left behind arguing on Twitter while others make money.
